Microchanneling Post-Care instructions
The initial 72 hours post-procedure are the most critical.
No other products should be applied for the remainder day. It's ok to rinse with water. Moisturize with provided post care balm as needed. It's important to keep skin moisturized Oral water intake is just as important.
Avoid direct exposure to pet dander and other irritants as best you can. You may experience a mild allergic reaction to pets and other things you typically to do not react to within the first 24 hours.
When the numbing wears off your skin may feel like a mild sunburn. You may apply cool compresses or take OTC analgesics. (e.g. Tylenol or Ibuprofen)
Needle lengths of 0.25mm, 0.5mm will result in mild redness and swelling for up to 24 hours.
Needle lengths of 1mm, to 1.5mm will result in redness and swelling for up to 72 hours.
Beginning the following morning, continue your routine skin care regimen. Initially, use only tepid to cool water; sensitivity to warmth and heat is normal. Tenderness can be expected.
Use hydrating and reparative products. Products rich in soothing and healing ingredients are best to encourage new, healthy cell growth. Peptides, antioxidants, stem cells, Vitamin A, C, and E, and growth factors work very well.
Do not resume retinol (2% or higher), tretinoin, prescription Vit C, or exfoliating products at least 5 days after treatment. Speak to practitioner about clean alternatives to retinol; continued use of is not recommended. Do not resume hydroquinone at least 10 days after to treatment; speak to practitioner regarding clean alternatives.
Avoid exposure to direct sun for 72 hours and wear SPF daily starting the day after, reapplying as needed.
Peeling and skin sloughing may occur for several days after treatment; avoid scratching or peeling.
Acne breakouts and milia occur in rare cases. Don’t pick and they’ll go away in a few days.
Trans Epidermal Water Loss is a common temporary side effect and could leave you feeling dry. Keep the recommended moisturizer(s) with you during the day and apply as frequently as necessary to avoid a dry sensation. Drink plenty of water.
Avoid exercise, gyms, and hospitals for 24-48 hours.
Return for your next treatment in 4-6 weeks.

Linder Health Chemical Peel Pre-Care instructions
.Don’t wash your face for 2-6 hours
No physical scrubs or other exfoliating treatments for 48 hours
Apply Broad Spectrum SPF, and reapply every 2 hours and seek shade when outdoors
Apply a light moisturizer 2-3 times daily, or as needed, to keep your skin hydrated
Avoid steam rooms and saunas for 24 hours
